REVIEW -- St. Ives Scrub-Free Exfoliating Pads

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was awesome. Hubby had his End of Season Tournament for frisbee and they ended up as the champs of their bracket. Which bracket is unimportant, but some of his teammates also helped another team win their bracket championship.. soo... technically, we can say that we're champs in 2 of the 4 brackets. Not a bad way to end the season, right?! :)

Today I have a review of St. Ives Scrub-Free Exfoliating Pads. I saw these at work a while back, and the St. Ives products were all Buy One, Get One 50% Off at the time. I was already purchasing a tub of the Apricot Scrub, so I picked these up to try as well.

The pads come in a 60 count package and retail for $4-5. They are available at drugstores, online, and stores like Ulta and Target.

The Scrub-Free pads are 100% all natural, dermatologist tested, non-comedogenic, and not tested on animals. They are non-abrasive and formulated with a natural AHA Complex to release dull skin and impurities while leaving healthy, fresh skin intact. Fruit extracts and moisturizing Vitamin E help skin feel soft and smooth. After 1 week, skin looks and feels fresher, younger, more radiant.

For best results, you should use them on a cleansed face twice daily or as tolerated.

I've used these pads 1-2 times a day for just over 2 weeks now and I usually use them as a follow up to my St. Ives Apricot Scrub.. but my face knows no over-exfoliation.

The pads themselves are very thin and a little hard to separate from each other in the jar. They smell like a light, sweetened cucumber. It's a very refreshing scent. One is enough to do 2 complete passes over my entire face plus my neck and decollete, and they don't leave behind a sticky residue.

One thing that I really like about these pads is that even after I wash my face at night and feel like it's clean.. these pads will remove even more makeup that I didn't know was still lingering. I've added them as part of my nightly ritual just for that reason.

To date, my face looks smoother, and feels much softer than normal. Plus, I feel like my overall complexion is a little brighter and that I look healthier and more vibrant. This could also be attributed to the new vitamins that I'm taking, but hey.. I'm willing to give St. Ives the benefit of the doubt. :)

Overall, I really like the St. Ives Scrub-Free Exfoliating Pads. I like that they are a chemical exfoliant, and that I can use them with my St. Ives Exfoliating Apricot Scrub to really get in there and clean out my pores. Sometimes if I use to manual exfoliants back to back (anything gritty), my face can get a little raw.. but I haven't had that problem with this combination!

I also LOVE that these pads really deep clean my face and remove every last trace of makeup at the end of the night. I never knew I had so much left over on my face, even after I washed it or used a makeup remover wipe.

I will definitely be repurchasing the St. Ives Scrub-Free Exfoliating Pads. I like that they are all natural and don't test on animals, and I love the price point. At least a month's worth of pads for under $5 can NOT be beat in my book! I'm not sure how well they would do at exfoliating when used alone, but I do like them as an inexpensive addition to my existing skincare routine.

I'm thrilled to give this product a 4 star rating!
RATING: 4.0 out of 5 STARS
