3 Things I'm Loving Right Now! -- Vol. 3

Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday! Today I'm going to do another installment of 3 Things I'm Loving Right Now because I think they're fun posts to do every now and then. :)

First up: Mio Energy in Green Thunder. I'm terrible about drinking water, and Chris and I have become hooked on Mios. It gets me to drink about 32 oz of water a day, which is a HUGE improvement when I used to drink.... none. :hangs head: I have several varieties floating around in my different purses, but the Green Thunder is my favorite. It's just a very light, sweet taste that's hard to pinpoint and yet very unassuming all at the same time. I don't know if it really gives me extra energy, but I'm not complaining. Also, it makes me look like I'm drinking antifreeze, which is always a great conversation starter! Haha!

Next is Pure DKNY. I've been wearing this every time I'm at work lately, and I can't seem to get enough of it. The whole perfume is based around one note: Ugandan vanilla, but it also has notes of freesia, orchid, jasmine, sandalwood, and amber. It's a great light, floral scent that comes off smelling very clean.

Finally, lilac lips. Regular customers at my work always tease me for my ever-changing (and often crazy) lip colors: bright fuchsia, neon orange, coral, cardinal red.. and now lilac. I think it's such a gorgeous and unexpected color. I'm still searching for the perfect shade, but I think I'm narrowing it down! I at least have one product that I plan on swatching for you within the next week! :D

And that's it for today! Enjoy the rest of your Hump Day and I'll be back soon!

NOTD -- Sally Hansen "Kitty, Kitty" Salon Effects Strips

Hey everyone! Today I have a super quick NOTD for you. My awesome friend Grace gave me a very sweet birthday gift, and I had to share it with you!

She gave me 2 Cos Bar nail files from Target, which are awesome because I always love to keep a nail file in my purse (and I have about 50 bajillion purses).. The new Revlon ColorStay base and top coats that are supposed to get you up to 11 days of wear out of your polish. I've been DYING to try these! And last but not least, Sally Hansen Salon Effects Strips in #320 Kitty, Kitty.

In real life, I wear Sally Hansen Salon Effects Strips probably once a week. I absolutely love them! They're fun and eye-catching, soooooo easy to apply, and perfect for when you don't have time to do your nails!

I always put a layer of Seche Vite over my strips and along the free edge of my nails. It really does help extend the wear time on them, but I usually get bored and remove them after 3 or 4 days. Thankfully, my nails are short enough where I can use one pack for both hands, so I'll get to enjoy wearing my Kitty, Kitty strips again at a later date!

How to Love Your Hair -- Shine On!

I totally wish I could get away with wearing my blue Katy Perry wig in everyday life..
Hey everyone! Happy Memorial Day! I hope you all have a safe and awesome day! Chris works from 9a-7p, but I'm off so I'm using the time to get my hair done again before we leave on vacation this weekend.. and then we're meeting a friend for dinner later this evening. Today wraps up my week-long How to Love Your Hair series, and I'll be showing you how to get super shiny tresses!

Here's how to do it:

  • Rinse with beer or cider vinegar. Over time, gunk from shampoos and styling products can build up on your hair, making the strands look dull and lifeless.. but acidic rinses (like beer or cider vinegar) can eliminate the product build up. After shampooing and conditioning, crack open a cold one and massage it through your wet hair. You can let it sit for 5-10 minutes while you finish showering, and then rinse your hair with cold water. Your hair will be softer and shinier in no time!
  • Try a clear glaze. Remember on Day 4 when I told you to use a colored glaze to keep your dye looking fresh between salon visits? A clear glaze will give you all the same benefits without depositing any additional color.
  • Use a conditioning oil. There are a million and one varieties for every type of hair from fine to thick and straight or curly.
  • Lastly, fake it til you make it. If push comes to shove, you can always use a shine spray or serum after styling to give your hair a glossy sheen. I've found that these typically aren't best for fine or thin hair (they tend to make it look greasy), but if your hair is up then it really doesn't matter.
Macadamia Natural Oil Healing Treatment infuses hair with moisture and nutrients for silky smooth, healthy looking hair.

Ojon Instant Restorative Hair Serum helps restore brilliant shine and softness to dull, damaged hair.

Redken All Soft Argan-6 Oil replenishes moisture for intense softness and shine.

- - - - - * - - - - -

Whew! Well, I hope you've all enjoyed learning tons about hair care! Let me know if there's anything else you would like to see covered and I'll be sure to work it in to a post soon for you! :)

BIRCHBOX -- Hubby's First Man Box

Hey everyone! I'm back to share Hubby's first Man Box from Birchbox. We signed him up at the beginning of the month, and his box shipped on Thursday. It was scheduled to arrive on the 29th, so having it arrive in two days was an awesome surprise!

The man version of Birchbox works exactly like ours, but with a few differences. It's still sent monthly, but their boxes cost $20 instead of $10 and focus more on lifestyle and grooming products. At this time, they also don't have a yearly subscription option, but I believe that you can choose 3 month and 6 month options.

So now, onto the awesome stuff!

John Varvatos | Star U.S.A. -- A dapper scent combining ginger, juniper berries, and vetiver.

Anthony Logistics for Men | Shave Cream -- A protective shave cream packed with eucalyptus and peppermint. **Note: Chris ACTUALLY received a facial cleanser instead, not shave gel.**

K√©rastase Homme | Bain Capital Force Anti-Oiliness -- A vitamin-packed shampoo that keeps hair fresh and strong. **Note: Chris received a sample packet, instead of the deluxe sample bottle. Birchbox corrected the mistake on Thursday and already sent out the correct sized bottle.**

RumbaTime | VanDamGO Watch -- A digital sports watch that pays for your lunch. It uses a VITAnumber to combine digital cashless payments with secure ID. It's your credit cards, identification, and a performance watch all mounted on a handsome, silicone cuff-style band.

The watch is $35 by itself! It's definitely the highlight of the box by far, so I want to tell you more about it! Here's all the info via Birchbox:

Click to be taken to the watch on

Each watch has a unique VITAnumber that is linked to your identification, emergency contacts, and health information. If you sign up for Contactless Payment, you can also link your watch to your bank account and use it to pay for goods at thousands of US retailers.

Register your watch online and load it up with cash. Feel free to forget your wallet at home—just wave the watch at the point of sale to make purchases.

- - - - - * - - - - -

Tell me that watch isn't awesome! Hubby is totally impressed with his box and can't wait to show his watch off to his coworkers when he goes in tonight. :)

I know I haven't posted my Birchboxes on here in forever, but would you like to see me start back with a monthly "His & Hers" Birchbox segment? Let me know in the comments!

How to Love Your Hair -- Day 5: UV & Heat Protection

Marissa Miller knows that hats can be so multi-functional!
Hey everyone! Happy Saturday! Today is Day 5 of my How to Love Your Hair series, and we'll be talking about how to protect your hair from UV and Heat damage. Even though I know that excessive heat from styling can damage your tresses, I never thought about how your hair needs protection from the sun as well!

Here are some tips to keep your hair looking fabulous:

  • Always use a thermal heat protectant spray before blow drying or using any hot styling tools on your hair.
  • Styling tools with 24k gold will get hotter faster and hold heat better for quicker styling, but they will also be more damaging on your hair.
  • Use styling tools with ions to help repair your hair.
  • Wear hats to protect your hair from UVA/UVB exposure whenever you're going to be outside for long periods of time.
  • You can also use a UVA-repelling serum to protect the health of color treated hair from the sun's damaging rays.

Victoria's Secret So Sexy Color Protect & Revive UV Shield Spray is a serum that protects against UV rays which can dry out and damage hair while also fading hair color.

CHI 44 Iron Guard provides superior heat protection from the inside out.

Alterna Bamboo UV+ Color Protection Rehab Deep Hydration Masque leaves hair incredibly silky and shielded from UVA/UVB dry-out and protects colored hair from fading due to exposure.

AG Firewall Argan Flat Iron Spray provides a barrier between your hair and your flat iron, absorbing heat and preventing breakage.

FRIDAY FAVORITES -- Supernatural

Happy Friday, everyone! Even though I'm in the middle of my How to Love Your Hair series, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to do a Friday Favorites post!

Hubby and I have been totally obsessed with the CW show Supernatural on Netflix lately. It follows two brothers, Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) who fight demons and monsters and are trying to save the world from the Apocalypse... that they maaaaaay have accidentally kick started. Oops.

Supernatural awesomeness aside, it doesn't hurt that Jensen and Jared were actually two of my teenage crushes back in the day! Do they look familiar? Jensen used to play on Days of Our Lives and is the hottie in the Britney Spears Curious perfume commercial that takes place in the hotel.. and Jared played "good boy" Dean on Gilmore Girls! Ahh, remember being Team Dean and Team Jess? Yes, those were the days.

So yeah. Supernatural. It's awesome, and it's on Netflix! And it's still running on the CW, too. I think they're in the middle of the 7th season now? I'm not sure.

- - - - - * - - - - -

Hope you have a great weekend! I actually have tomorrow OFF! *gasp* I know. I don't know what I did to deserve it, but I'm going to take FULL advantage of it! I've just got to get through tonight first.. lol :)

How to Love Your Hair -- Day 4: Preserve Your Color

Imagine the upkeep on this if it wasn't a wig...
Hey everyone! Today is Day 4 of my How to Love Your Hair series and I'll be talking about how to protect and preserve your hair color. There's nothing more frustrating than having your color fade right after paying to have your hair done, amIright ladies??

Here are some tips to keep your color looking fresh between salon visits:

  • Use products that are designed to keep your color vibrant. Look for product lines that fight the four causes of fading: Environmental aggressors, poor cuticle condition, color altering minerals and chlorinated water.
  • Cut back on shampooing your hair as much as possible. If you can go every other day (or even every three days!), you'll not only protect your hair color but also make your hair less dry and increase its natural shine.
  • Try a gloss or glaze. You can stop by your salon for a quick glaze touch up which will enhance the overall tonal qualities of your color and increase softness, manageability, and shine.. or you could try any of the several at-home varieties! 10 minutes in your shower is all you'll need to get amped-up color.
  • Use shampoos without sulfates. They can cause color to fade faster.

Redken Color Extend products are a good starting point. The shampoo provides maximum color security and the conditioner shields, stabilizes, and secures color intensity to leave hair smooth, manageable, and radiant.

Batiste Dry Shampoos have tinted formulas to help disguise root regrowth and they'll also help extend the time between shampoos.

John Freida Color Glazes come in brunette, red, and clear to help give color a boost at home for less than $10.

Pureology Essential Repair Instant Repair protects against breakage and helps rebuild color treated hair.

Matrix Total Results So Silver Shampoo is GREAT for blondes. The deep purple color of the shampoo will help tone lighter hair and prevent it from turning brassy. Use it 1-2x a week at most, though.

What products do you use to preserve your color? I've been loving the Matrix So Silver shampoo to keep my blonde looking.. well, blonde. :)

How to Love Your Hair -- Day 3: Turn Up the Volume!

Katy Perry's got TONS of volume.. Blue hair is optional.
Hey everyone! Today is Day 3 of my How to Love Your Hair series and I'll be showing you how to maximize the volume that you can get out of your hair! Volume is something I think a lot of us struggle with, and always wish we had more of. Here are some tips to achieve the look:

  • Give your roots a boost! Use a root lifting product to create volume and texture.
  • After shampooing and conditioning your hair, lightly rough dry your hair with your fingers until it is about 80% dry.
  • Using a vented round brush, start with 2" sections. Dry each section until your whole head is completed.
  • Rollers are another classic way to add mega-volume to your hair.
  • Try a texturizing spray or thickening cream to add that little extra "oomph" to your hair.
  • If all else fails.. Back comb! Teasing is a great way to add volume to a hairstyle.
  • Hairsprays are the original styling product used to lock in hold and volume. Apply it to sections of your hair for a longer lasting style.
  • Be sure to let your hairspray dry or set before brushing through hair for the best staying power.
Oscar Blandi Pronto Invisible Volumizing Dry Shampoo refreshes, revives, and recharges hair while increasing volume. It sprays on clear with a lemon verbena scent that is both clean and fresh. Plus, since the spray is invisible, it leaves no tell-tale residue behind for dark haired beauties! (Click here to read my full review of this product.)

Living Proof Full Thickening Cream creates beautiful, natural fullness and touchable body that lasts throughout the day.

Matrix Total Results Amplify Shampoo kick starts your hair's volume from the get-go to leave your hair looking and feeling thicker.

Big Sexy Hair Root Pump Plus is a humidity-resistant volumizing spray mousse that helps create but colume by pumping up hair at the roots for extra hold.

Redken Rootful 06 boosts roots with long-lasting, touchable fullness that's not stiff or sticky.

Big Sexy Hair What a Tease Backcomb in a Bottle is a special combination of resins that gives hair instant height that's easy to shape and style and works for any hair type. Great for occasions where you don't have the time to tease your hair!

Kenra Volume Spray offers superior all-day hold and a fast-drying formula for finishing any style.

Big Sexy Hair Spray & Play Volumizing Hairspray gives your hair moveable and unbelievable volume, lift, and hold.

How to Love Your Hair -- Day 2: Get Perfectly Straight Hair

Beyonce's a DI-IVA. And totally gorgeous..
Hey everyone! Today is Day 2 of my How to Love Your Hair series! Today I'll be talking about straight hair.. which is what I have 98% of the time. I love how sleek and pulled together it looks.

Here's how to get the look:

  • Styling products, a blow dryer, and a flat iron are essential tools to get silky, sleek hair.
  • Conditioning hair after shampooing is a must. Towel dry hair by patting (not rubbing) it, and then follow up with a leave-in conditioner.
  • Blow dry your hair and then use a thermal heat protectant before flat ironing your hair.
  • If you need more control to fight frizz and keep your hair sleek, try using a serum or light hold hairspray after you've finished flat ironing.
  • To control fly-aways, use a dab of smoothing cream.
  • Brushes with natural bristles (like boars hair brushes) help control static.
  • Using a wide-toothed comb to detangle wet hair will also help control frizz and evenly distribute styling products.
NOT like this...!

It's A 10 Miracle Leave-In Conditioner is an ideal solution for smoothing and protecting hair. It works with all hair types to eliminate frizz and restore shine, while making hair stronger and healthier with each use. It's also a great thermal protectant spray! (Click here to read my review of this product.)

Redken Smooth Down Products cleanse and smooth hair. They enrich, tame, and nourish while providing humidity-resistant frizz control.

Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Cream eliminates frizz and adds moisture back to hair. The main ingredient, olive oil, nourishes hair to be healthy, glossy, and shiny.

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum penetrates deep into the hair shaft to displace water and constrict hair for faster drying and styling. Lightweight silicones will smooth, condition, and seal the hair while also adding shine.

Suave Keratin Infusion Leave-In Conditioner contains keratin to seal the cuticle, fight humidity, and protect hair from frizz for up to 48 hours.

- - - - - * - - - - -

What are your favorite products for gaining sleek hair? And which do you like better: curly or straight? I have to say that I love both equally, and I've been missing my curly hair for a while now. Still, being able to run a flat iron over my ends and be out the door has definitely been nice!

Stay tuned for tomorrow.. we'll be talking about volume!

How to Love Your Hair -- Day 1: Care for Your Curls

As much as Taylor Swift gets on my nerves, I'd seriously kill for her hair.
Hey everyone! Today kicks off my How to Love Your Hair series! I'll be covering a variety of topics, and I'm going to start with curly hair. Fun fact: My hair is actually naturally curly!

Curly-hair! Me and my friend Morgan.. this pic was taken the night before I got married! :)
Err.. well.. it was curly.. but it hasn't been the same since I had it chemically straightened back in January of 2011. BUT it's finally starting to be curly again! I'm so excited! So if you have curly hair.. here are some helpful pieces of advice:

  • Curly hair is naturally dry and thrives on moisture, which is why it's advantageous to use shampoos without sulfates, or try the "no-poo" method of eschewing shampoo altogether and just using conditioner.
  • Avoid using brushes and narrow-toothed combs, and instead opt for wide-toothed combs which cause less frizz and breakage.
  • The key to getting great curls is to set the curl pattern while your hair is damp. It's best to avoid completely combing through your hair. Instead set your part, then comb through as little hair as possible at the crown to have the hair lay as you want it.
  • Use a microfiber towel to dry your hair, but blot it dry instead of rubbing back and forth. This will cause less frizz! If you need your hair dried more quickly, use a blow dryer on a low/medium setting with a diffuser.
  • Also avoid touching your hair as much as possible.. this can separate your curls and lead to unwanted frizz.

Redken Ringlet 07 Curl Perfector moisturizes and revives curls with "dramatic" definition while controlling frizz and adding shine.

TIGI Catwalk Curlesque Amplifier enhances your natural texture while defining curls and streamlining waves. Its essential oils combined with thermal and environmental protectants nurture curls for the perfect radiant finish.

DevaCurl Set It Free provides 24 hours of moisture. This moisture lock spray eliminates frizz, adds shine, and enhances curls.

Fekkai Marine Summer Hair Beach Waves blends ocean botanical extracts, Australian sea kelp, and active cooling agents to create surf-sexy, tousled waves year round.

Ouidad Moisture Lock will define curls and make your hair shine.

Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray adds sexy, tousled waves and a light matte finish to any hair type. Infused with natural dead sea salt and sea kelp, this salon formula has you and your hair ready for the boardwalk all year long.

Suave Professionals Captivating Curls Whipped Mousse is an alcohol-free mousse that has an anti-frizz complex and helps define and hold natural curl patterns for 24 hour touchable curls that are never crunchy.

- - - - - * - - - - -

What are your favorite products for curly hair? I swore by the Sunsilk Gel & Cream Twist, but Sunsilk products have been discontinued in the US.. and now they sell for like $30 a pop online. So I've been looking for my new "holy grail" curly hair products! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Happy Birthday to Me! :)

Birthday dinner at our favorite sports bar!
Happy Monday everyone! I'd like to thank you for all the sweet birthday wishes I've received. Each one put a smile on my face, and I've definitely been feeling the love all day long!

As far as birthdays go, it's been an uneventful one. On a particularly awesome note, I got waaaayy more birthday presents than I expected! New sparkly sandals, a new dress, a very special birthday package from my bffl Steph, and 2 presents that really made my day!

I've been wanting a more subdued Coach purse for a while. The one I have is awesome, but it's bright pink.. and it's not really appropriate for every occasion. But the Signature Stripe Tote will be perfect! And I got the matching wristlet to go with it!

The next awesome present is the Sigma Paris Makeup Palette! I've been lusting over this since it came out, and my palette is super special to me because MakeupByTiffanyD gave it to me! I got it just in time for my birthday, and it is such a sweet and thoughtful gift. The shadow Tiffany created is Eiffel on the far left. It's a black with multi-colored glitter scattered throughout. You can enlarge the picture to get a better view of it! I've already taken TONS of pics of it and will have swatches up shortly. But in the mean time, I wore it to dinner tonight (picture above!) and the quality is amazing! If you're wanting it.. DO NOT WAIT! Buy it!

Lastly.. what birthday would be complete without cake, right?!

Chris made me a delicious dark chocolate fudge PRINCESS CAKE! Yes. I'm 26 and I have a princess cake. And it's AWESOME! It even has edible pearls on it! :D I love it and it is delicious!

- - - - - * - - - - -

Aaaaaaand that concludes my 26th birthday! I need to go paint my nails quickly before I go to bed. I have to be back at work at 6am. Yuck. :(

My week-long How to Love Your Hair series kicks off tomorrow, so be sure to check that out!

NOTD -- Neon Nails! :)

Hey everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend! Mine seemed to drag, but that might just be because tomorrow is my BIRTHDAYYY!!!

Admittedly, though, I'm not super excited about it.. I mean, there aren't really many cool birthdays after you turn 21.. so 26 will be just another year. Still, it's my birthday and I have the day off, so I'm going to take advantage of it. :)

Today's nails (and my birthday nails!) are super neon! I used 2 coats of Orly's Dayglow as a white base and 2 colors of Sinful Colors Neon Melon to really make the color pop. They look awesome. Super bright highlighter yellow that's borderline obnoxious and I love them!  Hubby was like "Did you think you were going to lose your nails in the dark??" Haha! :)

Starting on Tuesday, I'm going to have a short series on hair tips.. so stay tuned for that!

FRIDAY FAVORITES -- Laura Geller's Body Frosting in Honey Glow

Happy Friday, everyone! This week's Friday Favorite is a product I've been using every time I go into work for the past couple weeks.. Laura Geller's Body Frosting. It's AMAZING!

Body Frosting is a huuuuuuuge paraben-free baked powder that comes with a pouf and can be used for the face or body. It provides a very realistic looking natural tan "glow" with medium coverage. (It makes the freckles on my arms less apparent and gives an overall "airbrushed" look.)

In less than a minute, you can get a commitment free tan that makes you look like you just got back from the beach! And the best part? The powder doesn't rub off on your clothing! Trust me... We can only wear solid black or white while on the clock, and it has never rubbed off on either one. That's something I definitely would have noticed!

Naturally, this wouldn't be ideal for a situation where you were going to get wet.. but for a special event or date night, Body Frosting is awesome! And you don't have to worry about uneven streaks, orange palms, or skin cancer! I'm in love!

This will probably be the next "big" purchase I make at work, but I'm trying to be frugal because we're going on a mini-vacay in about 3 weeks! (More on that later..) Rest assured that it WILL be mine, though!

Also, for beauties wanting more of a tan, there's also Tahitian Glow, which provides a darker color pay off.

UPDATE: I used Body Frosting when I went in to work today.. It's on my face, neck, decolletage, and lower arm. My top arm is my natural skin color. Look how good and natural it looks!!! :D

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

REVIEW -- Jason's Restorative Biotin Shampoo

Hey everyone! Today I have a review of Jason's Restorative Biotin Shampoo for you. I recently received this as a Klout perk and I can honestly say that it couldn't have come at a better time. I've been working my hair blonde and after 3 bleaching sessions in a month, my hair has been in desperate need of some pampering. Needless to say, I didn't waste any time putting this shampoo to the test!

Crappy quality pic of me as a blonde. :)
Jason has been a pioneer in providing natural products. Started in 1959, the company creates products  that are free of petrolatum, sodium laurel or laureth sulfates (SLS), parabens or phthalates.. and they never test on animals.

Their Restorative Biotin Shampoo gently cleanses as it restores healthy strength to weak, damaged hair. The thickening properties of Biotin and Vitamin B5 revitalize hair's elasticity. Ginseng and lavender extracts help repair split ends and minimize future breakage.

It comes in a 16fl oz bottle and retails between $6-10 USD. They have a store locator on their website, but you have to search by specific product. Apparently the Biotin Shampoo is sold in Krogers and Publixes in my area, which is pleasantly surprising. I love when all-natural/organic products are easily available!

After using this shampoo for a couple of weeks, my hair already feels LOTS better than it did. Before, my hair turned gummy when it got wet and I couldn't even comb through it without severe breakage. Now, my hair feels soft when wet, but it's not weak, gummy, and knotted like it was. Plus, I can comb through my hair with minimal to no breakage!

The shampoo has a thin consistency, but it lathers well and rinses away easily. I only need to wash my hair once for it to feel "clean" and I can actually get a second day out of my normally oily hair, which is always a plus. It has a very clean and appealing "lavender powder" scent that stays with my hair throughout most of the day. My hair doesn't hold scents from haircare products very well, so I think that's a plus.

Previously, I had been using Tigi's Oatmeal and Honey Shampoo, which was working to repair my hair.. but it didn't do nearly as good of a job as the Jason Restorative Biotin shampoo did.. and the Jason shampoo worked better in about half of the time!

I'm actually very pleasantly surprised with the Jason Restorative Biotin Shampoo! I expected it to be good, but not nearly as awesome as it is! This is definitely something that I will be purchasing with my own money once I finish this bottle.. and I'm actually thinking of picking up the matching Restorative Biotin Conditioner over the weekend to give it a try.

I'm also excited to see what other products I can try from Jason. They have an entire line of personal care products, and I saw some shower gels on their website that piqued my interest! I'm pleased to give the Restorative Biotin Shampoo a perfect score of 5 out of 5 stars!
RATING: 5 out of 5 STARS

Hey everyone! Today's polish is one we've all seen a hundred times by now, but it's one I thought might never grace my blog. Nail-Venturous' Floam sells out within seconds of being restocked, and I tried (unsuccessfully) many times to get it.

Thankfully, I have amazing friends! Steph surprised me with a bottle and seriously made my month. :)

Floam is a thick glitter polish that consists of matte neon blue, yellow and green glitters in a clear base. It's based off of the squishy, malleable toy from the 90s which bears the same name. Floam can be worn alone, but it leaves some bald spots.. so I prefer to layer it. Shown above is 2 coats of Floam over 1 coat of China Glaze's Turned Up Turquoise (which is also a neon). I topped it with 1 coat of SV, but I think it could have easily used another to make the surface appear less gritty.

Here you can see three coats of Floam by itself. The glitter shows up better this way, but you can still see the bare nail underneath and the tips didn't get covered evenly, either.

And here's the bottle itself! I love the label! It's definitely a throwback to the original product. :) Floam can be purchased either from Nail-Venturous' Etsy shop or Ninja Polish. She's currently closed for an extended period of time, but she always updates on Facebook before she opens!

Next up, I need Pinkerbell! :)
