REVIEW -- Urban Decay's Perversion Liner

Hey everyone! So.. one of the perks of my job is that I occasionally get free make up. And I'm not even gonna lie.. When I recently walked out with a bag of goodies after a training session, it took all of my self-control not to giggle like a 5 year old and run around waving my goodie bag in the air. In fact, I'm sure that I actually ended up looking a LOT like this:

*ahem*
One of the products I received was Urban Decay's 24/7 Perversion Liner that is "blacker than black". If you remember back at Christmas, Perversion was originally released as a LE product.. but they recently brought it back along with Woodstock (fuchsia) and Demolition (matte cocoa).

Urban Decay's 24/7 liners are particularly amazing because they're blendable when first applied, but last all day once they've had time to "set". They're waterproof, which makes them ideal for lining your waterline (which is what I use mine for!) and they retail for $19.

Perversion is a matte black that is truly the blackest black I've ever seen. Here's how it compares to other liners:

Palladio Herbal Waterproof Liner, Maybelline Unstoppable Liner, Ulta Black Glitter Liner
As you can see, Perversion has the blackest color and the most even and opaque coverage out of the four liners. But what's truly amazing is how effortless the application is. No tugging or pulling, no having to go over the same spot multiple times. It applies in one easy stroke.

RATING
I definitely love Perversion enough that I'm looking forward to getting other colors in the 24/7 line, namely Woodstock, Electric and Ransom. Perversion really does last all day without budging or smudging, and it is certainly a deep carbon black. I think the quality matches the price point, and Urban Decay has a wide variety of colors that will suit everyone's tastes. I'm pleased to give Perversion a 5 out of 5 star rating!
RATING: 5 out of 5 STARS

  1. Hi mandy! I only use black eyeliners and I am always looking for the best black eyeliner that will stay in my waterline and stay black without smudging. I am really excited about this review..and I am totally going to try this! But I have something for you as well. I have a black eyeliner from Physician's Formula that i bought in a trio pack for green eyes and i LOVE this eyeliner. I wanted to know if you have used it and if you have, how it compares to this Urban Decay blackest black you are reviewing.
The Physician's formula eyeliner i use is a 'shimmer strips custom eye enhancing eyeliner trio for green eyes'. it even has a small green band around the container.

    Hope to hear your thoughts!

  2. Wow, it certainly is a deep black! I wonder why Urban Decay still sells Zero as well as Perversion, since the latter is so much more intense.
