Hey everyone! Today is Day 18 of the challenge, which means HALF MOON NAILS. I knew that I wanted to do something different than the norm, so I decided to interpret the theme literally and then make a landscape from there. Since my background was such a dark color, it quickly turned into a winter theme, but that's okay.. Several places have already seen snow this year.. just ask my friend Amanda over at The Nail Polish Enthusiast.. She'll tell you! ;)
The moon is an old, unnamed Wet N Wild yellow creme polish. The dark blue background is Zoya Charla. Sinful Colors' Snow Me White was used to create the snowy goodness. I also topped the snow with ChG White Cap to give it a little bit of glisten and sparkle. The house is OPI's Warm and Fozzie. Then I added some large silver hex glitter pieces for stars.
I like these a lot, and I was really bummed to take them off. They're cute and great for winter!
And then somehow.. I ended up doing a normal half moon for my actual mani last night, so I decided to include that too.. just in case you were wanting to see something more traditional. Hey, I aim to please! I'm really liking the color combo. It's very pretty!
The pink is Zoya Izzy from the Jewel collection, and the purple is WnW Ready to Pounce from the OTP collection. The silver is just a silver striper from essence.
