Happy Monday!

Hey everyone! Today's post is kinda random... But I had a good day and am generally feeling chatty. :)

I woke up this morning to two awesome and hilarious FB messages from my friends on my wall. I wanted to share them with you because they made me smile. Definitely a great way to start my morning, haha!

Bahahaha! How funny are they?! I have awesome friends. :D
Then I went and got 6 hot pink hair extensions put in my hair! I've been wanting to do color again for a while, but I've been too scared because of how much I've put my hair through.. and I'm still very wary of it since the bottom 3 inches did disintegrate back in March. They look super cute and really pop against my dark brown hair! Plus, it's perfect timing since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month! I'm going to record a couple of videos tomorrow so you'll be able to see what they look like.

After that, I went to CVS and finally tracked down Wet N Wild's 'On The Prowl' collection. I've been searching EVERYWHERE for it! They only had three bottles left out of the entire display.. and it was the exact three shades I wanted! Talk about a lucky day! I haven't had time to take pictures of them yet, but I'll share Kelly from Vampy Varnish's bottle pics with you. Seriously.. these polishes are stunning. And Kelly's blog is amazing. You should definitely check her out.. her swatches are so gorgeous!

Behind Closed Doors is a black jelly base with red hex and micro glitters. It's sheer, but easily buildable. From the swatches I've seen, I personally think it looks better layered over black than built up to opacity, but I will probably wear it both ways. Building it up gives it more of a "jelly sandwich" look. And, sometimes I just really love me a good jelly sammich! ;)

Correction Tape is essentially the same as Party of Five Glitters... (aka, a layering polish) just with gold, turquoise and fuchsia glitters. And it looks FABULOUS. It's like a party on your nails! I swatched this over silver, gold and black and it looked amazing over all three!

I know this picture is hard to see, but Tangled in My Web is essentially the same as Correction Tape/Party of Five Glitters, just with solid black hex glitter. This is definitely another layering polish, but it's so unique and fun!

After I left CVS, I met up with my bestie for impromptu coffee and shopping! Can I just say how delicious a Starbucks decaf salted caramel mocha with no whip is? Yummmmmm. Oh, and marble cake too! Anyways, I always love seeing the bestie! For the last couple of years, we've both been so busy that we hadn't had time to see each other at ALL.. but now that life has calmed down, we've been able to see each other almost every week or so, which makes me really happy! :D

We stopped by my work and did some browsing, then ran over to Target and I picked up a red lip liner, another ELF concealer brush, an eyeliner brush and black ELF gel liner. I've been wanting to try gel liner for a while and I've heard really good things about ELF's version. I can't wait to try it out in the morning and eventually do a full review on it!

And that was my awesome day! I hope everyone else's day was good! But now it's practically midnight and I have to be at work at 6am.. so I'm going to say goodnight! ....Goodnight!
