While OPI polish isn't super expensive, if I can find a less expensive dupe, I'm all for it. Plus, I don't like OPI's formula for acrylic nails. With that being said, let me share my exciting find with you:
Pure Ice's 'Lilac Mist' is $2 at WalMart, compared to an average retail of $8 for OPI. I know 'Lilac Mist' looks a lot lighter in the picture, but they are actually VERY similar in person. Both have a sheer pink finish packed with micro glitter. The only difference I can see is that 'Princesses Rule' has more clear or silver glitter and 'Lilac Mist' has a slightly more gold sheen to it. The difference is so subtly though, that it's barely noticeable.
I got 'Princesses Rule' on my nails one day at my nail salon and smudged a nail on the way home. I took the polish off and used 'Lilac Mist' and no one could even notice the difference.
